Bangkok, Thailand - Mr. Prachaya Keeratinant, TAWA President, together with General Wisut Dechsakul, the TAWA General Secretary, Capt. Phetkasem Latarporn, the Deputy General Secretary and Registar, and Dr. Sirilak Thatman, the Deputy General Secretary and Head of International Affairs, in extending heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Niwat Limsukniran, the Director of the Department of Physical Education, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the department. The celebration took place on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the Nimibutr National Stadium.

In addition to commemorating the 90th anniversary of the Department of Physical Education, the Thai Weightlifting Association is proud to be one of the 19 sports associations participating in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Department of Physical Education, sports associations, and universities. This collaboration aims to promote and develop the sports industry, enhance opportunities for children and youth in global sports competitions, and foster cooperation between the educational and sports sectors.
